Credo Rare Earths (India) Private Limited (CREPL) is promoted by the group's flagship company, Credo Advanced Chemicals Ltd (CACL) as a wholly owned subsidiary. Headquartered in the western Indian city of Ahmedabad, CACL is a diversified business enterprise led by a team of entrepreneurial technocrats with strong fundamentals and sound financial base, focused in the field of processing and mining of mineral resources, development and operation of specialty chemicals industries and industrial production of inorganic higher value-added chemical products in India.
CACL has successfully promoted two operating subsidiaries, Gujarat Credo Mineral Industries Ltd (GCMIL), in joint venture with State controlled PSU, Gujarat Mineral Development Corp Ltd. (www.gmdcltd.com), one of India’s largest mining conglomerates. The plant is India's largest producer of Synthetic Zeolites. and a wholly owned subsidiary, Gujarat Credo Alumina Chemicals Ltd. (GCACL), established at Mundra, Dist. Kutch, being the world's newest and arguably the most modern refinery complex for the production of Specialty Alumina Hydrates & Chemicals.
We are pleased to announce Credo Rare Earths India Pvt Ltd has executed a strategic collaboration MoU with Gujarat Minerals Research & Industrial Consultancy Society (GMRICS), of the Gujarat State PSU, GMDC Ltd for a strategic alliance in exploration, mining and processing of critical minerals and rare earths.
This mutually beneficial association is also a step towards the vision of Atmannirbhar Bharat, to make India self-reliant in critical minerals and rare earth supply chain.
The MoU was signed in the presence of the top leadership of GMDC on 7th April 2025.
